About Our Company
Who Is CPC?
We are a system builder with a radical new philosophy, based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. We believe that everyone, regardless of credit, should be able to get a fairly priced gaming or streaming computer, backed by an industry leading return policy and service and support warranty, at a monthly rate that they can afford.
How does your process work?
It’s simple! Just fill out an application, instantly see your pre-approval amount, and select either a pre-built machine or a machine using our custom build configurator that fits your budget. Then, just come into my shop or contact us to complete the checkout process, and we will build your machine and have it ready for you.
How do I know I can trust you with my info?
Cincy Power Computers doesn’t receive any of your sensitive personal info, such as your SSN, your account and routing numbers, etc. Acima or any other payment provider you may choose receives your info securely on their servers through industry leading 256-bit SSL security, and every provider we offer is fully vetted and PCI DSS compliant, for maximum security of your personal information.
How do I know I can trust Acima, Snap, or American First Finance?
All 3 of my providers have partnered with thousands of merchants across the country to provide unique, valuable payment solutions for many years, and they are A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau. Any negative publicity about their payment solutions generally results from merchants misrepresenting their offerings. We aim to be 100% fair and above board in our representation of our merchant financing providers, therefore, we greatly encourage all our customers to read and understand the agreement summary and agreement that they sign with any of our providers.
What are my payment options?
We offer many flexible payment options, not just financing! Aside from our financing providers, we accept Paypal, Paypal Credit, and, of course, all major credit and debit cards.
Do I have to make all of my payments before I can pick up my PC?
Nope! After you get pre-approved, just pay the initial $50 payment, and we will send your PC to you, simple as that!
I thought you said this was no credit check! Why wasn't I approved??
With our providers, approval is based on a variety of factors, such as income, employment and residence histories, and the amount/number of current credit lines you may have open. While Acima and Snap should never hard pull your credit, and no credit is needed to get approved, they can still see large events on your credit, such as bankruptcies, etc., and those can potentially affect your getting approved or denied.
However, even if you aren’t approved, check through our shop and see if there is anything available that you could pay for in cash. Even some of our cheapest machines are surprisingly capable, and may still do what you need, for a price you can afford!
What states allow lease to own financing?
Every state in the US allows lease to own financing, with the exception of Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. For people based in those states, you can still use our traditional credit based financing options, as well as paying with PayPal, credit, or debit.
Why is the 12-month cost of lease so high?
Because our providers approve people who would not normally be able to get traditional financing, they have to charge a higher rate for the full term of the lease. Acima’s first payment default rate can be as high as 30% or more; therefore, they have to charge a higher rate to make up for that default rate.
What are my options to pay off my lease?
Acima offers multiple flexible payment options, including a 90-day early cash buyout period, and discounted buyout periods at multiple points before the 12 month period is up. Acima defaults to a 12-month payment schedule, which comes out of your checking account via ACH after every payday. To pay off your lease early, just call Acima, or log into your online portal at https://customer.acimacredit.com/ to manage your payments.
PayPal credit, our other main financing provider, offers 6 months at 0% interest; if you have good credit, they might be another reasonable option to consider.
How will my computer ship?
We ship using any of the three major providers (UPS, USPS, or FedEx). All of our shipments are packed securely with InstaPak foam inserts, and are fully insured against any and all damage. Some accessories, such as monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets, etc. may ship directly from our wholesale partners, and may show up using different logistics partners, in separate packages from the computer.
Can you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, due to customs and high shipping rates, as well as differing international laws about lease-to-own financing, we are unable to ship outside of the U.S. at this time.

My machine has a problem! How do I contact tech support?
We want everyone to be as happy as possible with their new PPC machine. If you have any issues, questions, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us! If I don't like my computer, can I return it?
We pride ourselves on excellent customer satisfaction, and, if you have a problem or question about your machine, we encourage you to reach out to us about it. We offer a 15-day return policy if you don’t like your machine, no questions asked. You can return your PC within 15 days from the date of purchase, and, provided it isn’t damaged or missing parts, you will receive a full refund. What are the details of your warranty?
Our service and support warranty is 2 years from the purchase date of a system, unless otherwise noted. This warranty covers all defects in hardware and workmanship, except for those resulting from accidental or intentional damage, overclocking, or natural damage, such as a lightning strike, fire, flood, etc.
Our warranty has two phases of coverage – first of all, if the issue can be fixed remotely, you can submit a support ticket, and we will try to fix it over the phone, video chat, or TeamViewer, or some combination of those three methods. If you are still experiencing issues, and diagnostics reveal that the issue is not easily fixable remotely, you can submit an RMA request, and ship the system back to us for further diagnosis, repair, and/or replacement.
